# Calculation of the well

drawing scale 1:

Specify dimensions in metres

Depth H
Upper diameter D1
Bottom diameter D2

Specify the value of excavation work

Digging (for 1 cubic meter)
Removal of soil (for 1 cubic meter)

## Calculation of wells or pits cylindrical

Specify dimensions in metres

D1 - Upper diameter wells
D2 - The diameter of the bottom of the well
H - Depth

Optionally, you can specify the cost of digging wells and soil removal cost.

## Calculation of volume

There are three options for the provision of water supply to private homes. You can drill a hole yourself, you can hire a professional to do this, and you can dig up on my site. All ways have advantages and disadvantages. Many prefer to arrange the well, because it's cheap, you can use it for more than 50 years and clean this construction much easier than the well. Besides, the digging of the well does not require special authorization. However, to dig the well, you must first do some calculations. Here you will find our design program. All you need to do is enter in the appropriate boxes, the depth of the well, its top and bottom diameter and the cost of excavation works in the area of your residence, after which the program itself will calculate the volume of the well and the estimated cost of his digging.

## The digging of the well

The first and foremost thing in independent digging wells is the choice of the place for him. It is important to close it within a radius of 50 meters there was manure storages and other impurities that could affect the water quality. Do not hold the well closer than 5 metres from the House. Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the foundation of the home due to leaching of soil.
It is also important to determine the depth of the well. You can find out the depth of similar structures on the neighboring areas or to drill a well.
Note that dig the well can not at any time of the year. Best of all, this is the period from June to September. At this time, the aquifer is low, and it means that you will not mislead the water from the upper layers, which may remain after the spring floods.
Next, what you should be worried about, it's about how you will strengthen the walls of the well. There are several options. This wooden frame, monolithic concrete and brick. Each of these ways of strengthening has certain advantages. So, a wooden house is the cheapest. But it is short-lived. Its service life is more than 15 years. Besides, it needs to be clean from silt every year. Additionally, when digging the well walls are strengthened, raising the risk of collapse.
Monolithic concrete is good that excludes surface water into the well. But such a well do much longer, and the cost it would be significantly more expensive. Here you have two options. Either make the concrete forms to reinforce walls yourself or purchase them. Before deciding how to proceed, please note that the factory of reinforced concrete ring stronger than those that you can make yourself. But, of course, and they will cost you more.
Construction of the well of brick requires special skills and training. The wall should be reinforced, and the brick build Foundation. But, like concrete, brick does not allow infiltration of surface water into the well.

## Once the well is ready

Whatever type of device structure you choose, from time to time you want to disinfect. Cleaning should be carried out at least twice a year and more frequently if the water fall. To clean the well out of it using a pump pumped out the water. Then, downstairs, we produce the necessary cleaning procedure. When foreign objects, silt, sand and dirt removed from the floor and walls of the wells produce disinfection. The walls of the well using a broom or a brush with long bristles with hlornym solution.
When the well is filled with water again, it should also make the chlorine solution into quantity of 150 mg per 1 liter of water. The water is mixed and well covered lid, left for two hours. Then pumping the water back and washed well with clean water. The procedure is repeated until the chlorine odor is gone.
